The Old Manse is an 18th century manse, which once belonged to a presbyterian church from the same period. The house is the second oldest dwelling within the inland section of Seahouses, known as North Sunderland, a settlement which dates back to ancient times. The earliest written records in existence are from 1296. In the 19th century, when its population numbered around 1000 inhabitants, North Sunderland began to be overtaken by a new settlement called Seahouses which developed around the fishing industry. Within the house, we have double, twin and family guest rooms.
