The Old Manse Guest House is within walking distance of Northumberland's beautiful, unspoilt beaches. It is only a short drive to many spectacular castles such as Bamburgh, and Alnwick, with its impressive gardens and fountains. From the harbour at the other side of our village, regular boat trips will take you out to the Farne Islands nature reserve. We are also close to Holy Island (Lindisfarne), the Northumberland National Park and the Cheviot Hills. Nature lovers, walkers, cyclists, golfers and sea sport enthusiasts all enjoy this area and there is no shortage of nearby attractions to suit all ages and tastes.

Breakfast ...
In addition to the usual breakfast items, we offer a traditional English breakfast, expertly cooked and using locally sourced produce, including the renowned 'Bamburgh Banger' from Carter's in Bamburgh. To make breakfast as healthy as possible we grill rather than fry, and our eggs come fresh from the farm close to our home.
